You can see the old tarp left to its own devices on the ground, still wet from the rain. The dark fabric is beaded with little drops of water in the dim light. Here and there, a streak of orange rust has made its way over the creases, as if time put it there. It’s all very forlorn: the way the material is worn and the colours have run their course gives it a kind of hushed, sad feeling.
